MJ'S PAINTING

I started MJ’s Painting in March of 1987 with an $1,800 loan from my dad. 

I had started painting in 1979, working for a local painting contractor out of Hayden, Idaho. I used the loan to buy some basic equipment and worked out of my garage. I then hired a couple of painters and things took off from there.

As we grew, I started renting commercial space and then back in 2000 we expanded to a shop building in Hayden. Subsequently, I bought another shop building directly across the street so we have 2 great facilities to work out of.

The company is owned by my wife, Louise, and myself. She is not active in the business at present, but did put time in our office operations in years past.

Our Current office staff is Mark Johnsen (Owner), Paul Marosi (Estimator), James Paul (Job Scheduler and general jack of all trades), and Bethany Waterhouse (Office Manager).

We have a great group of painters, most of which are long time employees, the longest being about 25 years. Of of our strongest attributes is our unprecedented service and customer satisfaction.
